Pink Tutu Commission Painting.for a baby girl

This customer came to me seeking a tutu painting as a gift for her sister who was about to have a baby girl. She wanted soft colors and tons of pink & green. This was a BIG painting with TONS of texture per her request.

Very girlie. Mission accomplished. The baby was born a few days ago healthy and ready to grow up in her pink room.

It felt really cool to know that this young person would grow up and remember that tutu painting all her life.

While painting full time makes me INSANE at times, there are times when it feels really nice. This was one of them,

Avocado Painting

I really like how this piece turned out. I have done an avocado aceo recently but it has been a very long time since I've done a full sized one. This particular painting is a 16" x 20" oil and acrylic on stretched canvas.

Enormous Red Wine Painting Finished!

It took a little while but I just finally finished a HUGE wine painting. It is oil and acrylic on a 4 foot by 4 foot stretched canvas. One BIG glass of wine!

Sometimes I struggle with continually finding new ideas for paintings. Anyone, please share whatever ideas you have. I paint things that people are "passionate" about. What are you passionate about that would be a cool painting.
